Slides were mounted in Vectashield (Vector Laboratories) with 1.5 μg/ml DAPI (4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole), and imaging was carried out using a Zeiss Axiovert 200 M microscope with a Roper Scientific Coolsnap HQ camera.
